Order 45 plays a critical role in ensuring that NSW coal mine workers are screened for health risks that may be associated with their work. It allows for early detection and intervention with the goal of ensuring workers can continue to work safely.

Through regular monitoring and other preventative health strategies, we can work with you and your workforce to mitigate health risks and optimise workplace health and wellbeing.

Our Allied Health team’s industry knowledge and experience enables us to support employers and protect workers’ health throughout their working life and beyond. If an injury does occur, we support them in their recovery and return to better health.

The Industry Health Standards aim to provide greater consistency, clarity and transparency regarding medical determinations and improve medical management of identified issues across the NSW coal mining industry.
