Mines Rescue has international experience in reviewing and auditing emergency response and preparedness plans for tailings dams.
Our consultants have helped companies to develop and improve their emergency preparedness and response plans for tailings storage facilities and have conducted both remote and onsite audits to ensure that essential preventive and mitigating controls are developed and properly implemented.
We specialise in all aspects of crisis and emergency response management including emergency management plans, crisis management plans and training. Combining this expertise with a deep understanding of industry best practices for tailings management, we ensure our advice aligns with recognised standards from bodies such as the Global Industry Standard for Tailings Management (GISTM), the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) and Australian National Committee on Large Dams (ANCOLD).
