Medicals
Helping to keep industry safe by providing quality occupational medicals since 1948. We are an industry leader in providing medicals

Chest x-rays
Coal mining exposes workers to airborne particles which can cause lung diseases such as pneumoconiosis. Under Order 45, coal mine workers must attend a periodic chest x-ray as part of the requirement for ongoing health surveillance.

Drug and alcohol screening
With evolving legislative obligations on both employers and workers, it is essential that fair anti-drugs policies are well-communicated and backed by effective assistance programs. CS Health can facilitate advice on developing and implementing policies that meet the unique needs of your workplace.

Hearing and PPE fit tests
Hearing protection fit testing can assist in verifying that the hearing protection used by the worker provides adequate protection and is effective in reducing noise exposure. Respirator Fit Testing uses a specialised machine to assist in verifying the respirator used provides an adequate seal and is being worn correctly by the worker.

Immunisation
Vaccination is a must to help maintain workers’ health and reduce the spread of disease. Staff illness impacts your workplace by causing absenteeism and diminished employee performance. Our workplace programs can be performed onsite or at any CS Health office.

Complex lung function testing (CLFT)
Complex lung function testing (CLFT), including the Diffusing Capacity of the Lung for Carbon Monoxide (DLCO) testing, plays a vital role in detecting occupational lung diseases. These diseases can result from exposure to harmful substances in the workplace, such as chemicals, dust, and fumes. By evaluating lung function, these tests can help identify early signs of occupational lung diseases such as pneumoconiosis (coal worker’s pneumoconiosis, silicosis), occupational asthma, and chronic bronchitis.
