Meet Kylie
Kylie Ah Wong was appointed as a Director of Coal Services on 1 January 2024 and was appointed to role of Chairperson on 2 July 2024.
Kylie is currently the Director of Health, Safety and Training at Glencore Coal. With over 23 years’ experience in the resources sector, Kylie is a recognised leader in health, safety, and education in the mining industry. In 2019, she was instrumental in establishing Mates in Mining, an industry-backed, research-based, suicide prevention and support program for the mining industry. Kylie has experience in both operational and health and safety roles across the mining industry in both open cut and underground contexts.
She is actively involved in industry working groups and committees at both a state and federal level, including the Minerals Council of Australia Health and Safety Committee, and the Coal Mining Safety and Health Advisory Committee (Qld). She also currently chairs the NSW Minerals Council Health and Safety Committee.
