Our complimentary seminars cover a range of industry topics and are led by our team of subject matter experts. The seminars aim to provide you with insights to help manage your workers compensation obligations and to develop strategies for worker education and injury prevention.

Identifying and managing chronic pain

Overview:
Chronic pain is complex and often misunderstood. In partnership with an accredited therapist in chronic disease management, this session explains the difference between acute and chronic pain and provides guidance on early identification and management of chronic pain.

This session will be co-presented by one of CS Health’s accredited therapists in chronic disease management, musculoskeletal conditions and trauma recover.

This session will include:

  • Strategies for managing chronic pain

Managing psychological injuries
Overview:
We understand the complexities of psychological injury claims and their impact to our industry. CMI have partnered with Mental Health Movement (MHM) to help you create a mentally healthy and supportive workplace.
With over 30 years’ experience in the frontline mining industry, the MHM team will discuss the indicators and contributing factors in mental health within our industry.
