Chest x-rays are managed by our team of qualified radiographers.
Did you know that workers exposed to dust should have a chest x-ray every three years?
Coal mining exposes workers to airborne particles which can cause lung diseases such as pneumoconiosis. Under NSW Coal Order 43, coal mine workers must attend a periodic chest x-ray as part of the requirement for ongoing health surveillance.
Our Singleton office is equipped with x-ray facilities, and we can also accommodate chest x-rays in other regions by referral to an approved provider. We provide this screening service to assist in detecting changes in the lungs that may indicate dust diseases.
