Mines Rescue is partnering with the International Mining and Resources Conference + Expo (IMARC) to deliver a series of Maintenance of Competence (MoC) Workshops for mining professionals across all three days of the event.
Held at ICC Sydney from 27-29 October, IMARC is Australia’s largest mining event, bringing together thousands of mining professionals, industry leaders, technical specialists and suppliers from across Australia and around the world.
As part of our partnership, Mines Rescue will deliver six MoC Workshops, giving statutory ticket holders and other eligible mining professionals the opportunity to earn applicable MoC hours while engaging with practical topics relevant to the mining industry.
Workshop topics
Workshops will cover:
- Learning from Disasters
- Emergency Management
- Air Quality, Dust and Other Airborne Contaminants
In addition to the Mines Rescue workshops, attendees will have access to the broader IMARC conference and exhibition, with opportunities to hear from industry leaders, explore emerging technologies, discuss industry challenges and connect with peers from across the sector.

Who can apply?
