Meet Erin

Erin was appointed in November 2025.

Erin brings extensive experience in mining operations and safety leadership to the organisation. Over a 17-year career in the sector, she has built a reputation as a trusted leader who delivers strong operational performance, fosters a positive culture and drives strategic improvement across the industry. Erin’s contribution to the industry has been widely recognised. She was named the NSW Minerals Council’s Exceptional Woman in Mining in 2021 for her leadership and advocacy.

Erin began her career with South 32 (formerly BHP Illawarra Coal), progressing through numerous development and longwall roles. Most recently, she was the Health, Safety, Risk and Training Manager with GM³. She has also previously held the roles of Regional Manager of the Southern Mines Rescue Station and Deputy State Operations Manager, Mines Rescue.

Erin holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering (Honours), a Mining Engineering Manager (coal mines) practising certificate. She has also completed the Advanced Leadership Program through Women & Leadership Australia at UNSW Business School. Erin is an active member of the Mine Managers Association of Australia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
