Andrew Reid was appointed as Chief Information Officer in October 2025.

Andrew Reid joined Coal Services as Chief Information Officer in October 2025 and is responsible for the organisation’s technology, cyber security, data and digital functions. He works closely with business leaders to ensure technology supports Coal Services’ strategic priorities, strengthens governance and risk management, and delivers value for customers, employees and industry stakeholders.

Andrew is focused on using technology, data, automation and artificial intelligence to improve organisational performance and support Coal Services in responding to emerging opportunities and challenges across the industry.

With more than 20 years’ experience in technology leadership across Australia and the United Kingdom, Andrew has held senior roles in banking and financial services. He has led large-scale technology, data and business transformation programs in complex, highly regulated environments. His expertise includes technology strategy, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, data and analytics, operational resilience and organisational change.

Throughout his career, Andrew has delivered initiatives that have modernised technology platforms, improved customer and business outcomes, and helped organisations adapt to changing business, market and regulatory requirements.
