Kirsty Bates

Meet Kirsty

Kirsty has been with Coal Services since 2006 when she commenced as a Registered Nurse with CS Health.

She was appointed General Manager in 2022. Since joining the company she has undertaken various clinical and leadership roles and immediately prior to becoming General Manager, she was responsible for CS Health’s quality assurance and business improvement initiatives. Kirsty’s health industry experience spans both the public and private sectors and, having spent most of her life in and around coal mining, she has a deep understanding of the mining industry and the communities in which they operate. Kirsty holds a Diploma in Applied Science (Nursing) from the University of Newcastle and is currently undertaking further studies in business and strategic transformation.
