Meet Mark

Mark Genovese was appointed as a Director of Coal Services on 1 January 2013.

Mark had over 35 years’ experience within the Australian Credit Union Movement; and is now Chief Executive Officer of Westfund, one of Australia’s leading member-owned Private Health Funds.

Mark previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Unity Bank for 17 years and worked at Australia’s peak Credit Union body, Credit Union Services Corporation Australia, where he managed the retail banking products provided to credit unions. He also represented the industry on the Australian Payments Council and VISA Australia Boards.

 In recent years Mark played a pivotal role in the development of the first regionally based Digital Hub, Gunthers Lane in Bathurst, along with the first community-owned not-for-profit Start Up Hub, Upstairs.
