Coal Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Polly to the position of General Manager, Insurance, reporting to Coal Services’ Chief Operating Officer, Wayne Green.
Dean will oversee the NSW coal industry specialised workers compensation scheme that is administered by Coal Mines Insurance.
Dean joined Coal Services in February 2018 as the Head of Prevention and was appointed to the role of Deputy General Manager, Insurance in November 2021. Dean’s workers compensation career spans more than 19 years, during which time he has held leadership roles at Employers Mutual Limited and Allianz Australia where he had accountabilities across underwriting and premium management, reinsurance, account management and distribution.
